What is Full Veneer?
Full veneer stone is a natural material generally described as 3”-6” in thickness (or depth). Full veneer is the traditional stone material used for centuries. Available in many different shapes, a stone is still considered full veneer as long as it meets the requirement of 3”-6” in thickness.
Many new construction projects utilize full veneer stone, granted they have a 5” – 5½” brick ledge. Full stone can be used most anywhere as long as the proper steps have been taken to accommodate for the weight of the material. If you are unsure of your weight restrictions, please speak with your architect and/or contractor. Projects such as interior and exterior construction, gates/signs, outdoor living spaces and many more are aesthetically enhanced with the beauty of natural stone.
